Master of Time

Updated: Aug 28, 2020

What a great day to serve the Lord! Voicing my praise through this poem today. He is the God of yesterday, today, and forever. Praise His holy name!

Master of Time

Beauty in a form of unknownness, May have seemed a mess, Though do not think no less, Than this grand gesture, Of the things that were, The cause of three wise men bringing gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

His grand design, Expressively showing us the signs, From prophetic books of old, Unleashing a new story to be told, A virgin mother able to hold, The creator of the universe.

Normality twas not a probability, In fact, supernatural power twas the key, Saving this world of sin, That we might have the strength to win, To abandon this land behind of carnal men.

A rushing sound of a mighty wind, Unto His people He did send, That they might have the power to defend, All things eternally sound, No longer weighed down, Nor the heaviness of being bound.

He hast been my Lord, My shield and my sword, My victory is in His holy name, For he hast healed the lame, And delivered those who unto Him came.

Grace, grace, His loving grace, Crossing the finish line of this royal race, At last seeing His glorious face, Reaching the gates of pearl and streets of gold, Because of the moment that stone rolled, “For He is risen” twas told.

Majestic sovereignty, Things that were, are, and forever will be, Hallelujah I shall sing, To my Savior, my King.

What a wonderful day to serve the Lord! I have been going through all my notes, writings, and poetry since I felt the Lord put creating this blog on my heart. This poem, in particular, I wrote late one night while I was in Hope Corps. One thought reigned in my mind: Jesus is the Master of time.

From before time itself to God wrapping Himself in flesh and dying on the cross for all mankind to when we finally stand in His presence. He knows every second, day, year, and century. Every step you take. Every thought you have. Every flower that blooms. Every song the birds sing.

When you are having bad day or trial, know that God is already looking at the big picture. He sees the problems you are facing and the miracles that will take place to bring you out. Have faith and hope in the future Jesus has planned for you.

Following the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13,

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

we begin our prayers with praise and worship. What follows next is asking the Lord for His will to do done. When we seek the Lord's will in our lives, we are submitting our lives to follow His plan. Such a perfect example to follow.

Verse of the Day

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Have a happy day!
